Process Instruments

LiDAR (light detection and ranging) and radar (radio detection and ranging) sensors detect and localize objects in their surroundings. In doing so, they detect the size and shape of these objects. LiDAR and radar sensors from SICK are used in many indoor and outdoor applications, for instance on automated guided vehicle systems, harbor cranes, service robots, or in building automation. The devices are characterized by the fact that they function reliably, even under harsh ambient conditions.
